Slurry Pump Expeller Ring
Slurry pump expeller ring is one of shaft seal parts in centrifugal dynamic seal pumps which is container of expeller.
A grease lubricated packed gland with neck and lantern ring in the expeller ring prevents leakage when the pump is stationary, because the centrifugal seal is only effective when the pump is running.
Slurry pump expeller rings are normally made in metal (cast iron or high chrome) or rubber, special material are also available.
